My little group of Craftsman branded Multi Tools. ![]() ![]() The sheath has a snap and a nice plastic clip on the back, like a sog sheath does. So, this can be a place to post our Craftsman branded multi tools. The handle and knife are labeled craftsman. I find it is easier to flick it open than use the sliding button, either way it is hard to open but this could be a learning curve so I will edit for a couple days and then share my thoughts. As for the sliding mech, it is smoo and nice coming back in but deploying is a real bugger. The Channellock Plier, DeWalt 108-Piece Mechanics Tools Kit and Socket Set, and Crescent 180-Piece Professional Tool Set kits top the list, though the Craftsman. Uses a reversible bit, appears to be 1/8 inch so it won't take the standard quarter inch bits. The knife is really sharp but it is so polished and stamped china in big letters that it looks cheap to me. The Oscillating Multi-Tool includes attachments for working with a wide variety of materials. The knife and can opener are comparable to the suspension line IMO. Carve, grind, engrave, sharpen, clean, cut, sand, and drill with corded or V20 cordless power. Quality, I lump it with the balance, crucial and octane. However, it is not anywhere near rebar quality or the gerber mp600 sight tool. Needle-nose pliers combine wire cutting with a long, narrow reach and the ability to curl the end of the wire, all in one tool. I got one and at first glance it is as well built as the gerber balance.
